Enjoyed some great meals at Farmhouse Cafe, a must if you are in the area.

I am in Huntsville, Texas this week for a project for work, great folks and a nice atmosphere. I regret not taking a picture of all the Sam Houston statues, but I will tell you I counted at least four in the neighborhood. The cherry blossoms are going hog wild out here so, a jog through the neighborhoods brings a great aroma.

I visited my friend in Houston this weekend and we went down to check out the Japanese garden to catch some of the cherry blossoms.

Oakland Cemetery from the MARTA

A second relatively large snow storm has hit Atlanta this winter, I am just happy to have made it into Atlanta before it really began to impact the airport. Here I spent the week in Oklahoma and didn't really see much of the white stuff, and I come back to a white Atlanta. I also learned that a walk from the local MARTA station to the neighborhood where I live is manageable with my carry on luggage, which is a nice benefit of living in a big city.

A run to the lighthouse

I took my camera along this morning for my run down to the local lighthouse. I wanted to capture the sunrise. It was a nice run and a beautiful sunrise, enjoy.
