Dirty fun on Camel Back
While at the Hyde Park Street Fair I watched as children enjoyed themselves sliding down portions of Camel's Back Hill. It was a climb getting up to the steepest section (right at the top) but it was fun to watch and it reminded me of my childhood. My brother Casey and I would have been all over that hill, sliding down on our butts through the sand and dirt. It's great to see kids being kids and enjoying themselves outdoors.

Home Front pt. 2
If your travels you find you are in eastern Oregon, swing on in and say "hey", they love visitors, you won't get out without a large meal or at least some coffee and a tour.

Home front
I was able to spend a short time at Mom and Dad's new place, lot's of explaining to do there which I may address at a later time, it was my first trip to the "Raven Ranch". Below you will find some of the pictures I took to capture their new environment. It's not for everyone, but they love it.

Milky Way
Spent the night with mom and dad at their new place, I am glad the stars came with them. Being out in the sticks has the benefit of no ambient light. Good Night!

Paella cooking class

My mother and I went to a Basque Paella and Tapas cooking class at The Basque Market in Boise, ID last night. It was a very informative and tasty experience, and I highly recommend it. I enjoyed the laid back approach and the tasty dish, not to mention the great wines.
