Enjoyed some great meals at Farmhouse Cafe, a must if you are in the area.

I am in Huntsville, Texas this week for a project for work, great folks and a nice atmosphere. I regret not taking a picture of all the Sam Houston statues, but I will tell you I counted at least four in the neighborhood. The cherry blossoms are going hog wild out here so, a jog through the neighborhoods brings a great aroma.

Roadtrip Signs

I suppose I have purged all the photos from my roadtrip up from Naples to Atlanta, but I keep coming back to them and finding ones I want to share. I may share the bird and boot next, time will tell.

I am looking to do more of these back road adventures, it's a blast and you really appreciate the road more if you are always looking for things that catch your eye on the way. Hopefully I can convince my "navigator" Tristan to join me on another one this spring or summer. Until then, keep your eyes peeled and your wheels wondering.

Travel woes

Traveling during the latest "storm of the century" got stuck in Charlotte on Friday night and had to catch a flight on Saturday morning. So many people stranded, and irate, never fun.

Outer Banks Brewing Station

Stopped for dinner at the Outer Banks Brewing Station, great food and even better beer. This is the first wind powered pub in the U.S. and boy can they brew!
